PacificSource Health Plans Partners with Assist America for Global Emergency Services Springfield, Ore., and Princeton, N.J.—(October 17, 2007)—PacificSource Health Plans, Springfield, Ore., an independent, not-for-profit health plan serving the Pacific Northwest, announced today that it has partnered with Assist America, Inc., Princeton, N.J., to provide global emergency assistance services for its members. Effective immediately, Assist America will support PacificSource members and their families with an array of services, including medical referral and monitoring, emergency medical evacuation, repatriation, hospital admission guarantee, companion transport and more, if they become ill or injured while traveling 100 miles or more away from home, or in another country. “At PacificSource, we are committed to helping people get the healthcare they need, and we strive to provide all our customers with the information and tools they need to make informed healthcare decisions,” says Kenneth P.
