IFFCO-TOKIO Chooses Assist America as Travel Emergency Services Provider

Company becomes First and Only General Insurer in India to Offer Domestic Assistance Services

Princeton, N.J.—(May 7, 2007)—IFFCO-TOKIO General Insurance Co. Ltd. (ITGI), a trusted player in general insurance in India, announced that the company has selected Assist America Medical Emergency Services (India) Ltd, provider of global emergency medical services for travelers, to offer travel emergency assistance services to individual health policyholders in India. This association connects Individual Medishield policyholders with a powerful array of emergency medical services when they are traveling within India more than 150 km from their residence.

ITGI individual health policyholders will be able to activate emergency services like medical referral and monitoring, emergency medical evacuation, repatriation, companion transport and more, if they become medically compromised while traveling within India more than 150 kilometers from home.  The emergency services will be offered without charge-backs, financial caps or exclusions for pre-existing conditions, hazardous activities or geographic locations.
