Humana Insurance of Puerto Rico Partners with Assist America
for Global Emergency Medical Assistance Services

San Juan, P.R. and Princeton, N.J.—(April 1, 2006)—Humana Insurance of Puerto Rico, Inc., San Juan, P.R., a branch of Humana, Inc., one of the largest publicly traded health benefits companies in the U.S., announced today that it has partnered with Assist America, Inc., Princeton, N.J., to provide global emergency assistance services to its Puerto Rico-based members.

Assist America will support Humana Insurance of Puerto Rico members and their families with an array of services, including medical referral and monitoring, emergency medical evacuation, repatriation, hospital admission guarantee, companion transport and more, if they become ill or injured while traveling off the island.  The program is unique among Puerto Rican health insurers.
